What a week

I feel like crap. So much so that I called Dana Farber to find out what they thought I should do.

Sounds like I probably just have a bad cold, not Covid-19. But either way my oncologist doesn’t want me to come in Monday for treatment. So we’re skipping a week of chemo so I can get better.

I’m exhausted. Physically, mentally, and emotionally drained.

But we have plenty of food. And plenty of toilet paper 🤣🧻.

So we’re hanging in there.

Looong day today, but here’s something that made me smile. Ellie started feeding herself yogurt and it’s just ridiculous.

How is everyone else?? Share in the comments something that made you smile today. 😊

  1. Something that has made me smile today: These pictures of Ellie eating yogurt! Also, all the snow is gone, and it’s 60 degrees! Springtime is coming, in fits and starts. Shake your cold quickly, so you can get the chemo over and done with!

  2. How can you not smile at Ellie with her yogurt facial! Love it❤️ I laughed at some of the postings from parents trying to homeschool and saying teachers don’t get paid enough! Hang in there! Yogurt may become a “ pre bath snack! Love that face! So proud of herself!

  3. Those pictures are so much fun! Something that made me smile today— I saw pix from Doug and Em today from D.C. and NYC and it’s spring in both those places! There is hope!

  4. Hoping you kick the cold fast!

Like my mom said, 70° and sunny here meant a tour of every flowering plant in Williamsburg – I’ll text you some photos ❤

What made me smile most? A man with latex gloves and a face mask sitting on a bench, mask pushed down onto his chin so he could vape. Okay, bro…
